Main House
The Main House 401 was built in 1929 and is on the Historic listing in Blacksburg. It has 1 Queen Junior Suite, The Appalachian. It also has a King room, The Smithfield, and a Queen room, The Blue Ridge. The main house's first floor is open and able to be used for meeting space or just a relaxing afternoon.
The entire house can be booked, please call or email for pricing. By booking the entire house this means you will have the house to yourselves, and no other guests will be allowed in. You will have total privacy.
Room 7
Appalachian Queen Junior Suite
This charming guest room, with its separate pine-paneled room, might be our most often requested guest space. The second rustic room features a skylight and several windows overlooking the back of the property from the 2nd floor of the main house. The full, private bath has both a tub and shower.
Room 8
Smithfield King
Embracing the character and architecture of the main house, this guest space upstairs in the main house offers a beautiful king-size sleigh bed, a reading alcove, and an electric fireplace. The large bathroom has double vanity sinks and a shower (no tub).
Room 9
Blue Ridge Queen
In a soft, warm shade of Blue Ridge blue, this corner room in the main house on the 2nd floor is sure to entice overnight guests for a return stay. An additional bed can be added, and the full, private bathroom offers both a tub and shower.
